Registered Nurse

Klamath Hospice, Inc. is recruiting for an RN to join our interdisciplinary team.  Excellent benefits package including fully paid medical, dental, short/long term disability, and up to 25 days of paid time off.  

The Hospice Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, coordinating, providing and documenting care for terminally ill patients from day of admission through day of discharge. By utilizing physician's orders and professional skills, the Hospice RN develops and implements a hospice plan that meets each patient's specific needs.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• RN license Experience as an RN commensurate with ONE of the following: one year acute care experience within the last three years; one year home health care experience within the last three years; one year community health or public health experience within the last three years; one year hospice experience within the last three years; or, have a baccalaureate degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League of Nursing.
• Current BCLS certification
• Basic computer knowledge
• Comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
