The natural wonder of Crater Lake is only 60 miles from Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Nestled in the breathtaking beauty of Southern Oregon’s Cascade Mountain range just across the California border, Klamath Falls is the county seat of Klamath County.  The exceptionally mild climate and 300 days of sunshine add up to a four-season recreational paradise.  Klamath County is home to approximately 70,000 residents and boasts Oregon’s only Arnold Palmer Golf Course at the Running Y Ranch.

Full-Time Social Worker (MSW or LCSW)

Position is responsible for delivery of varied social work services to hospice

patients and families, including initial psychosocial evaluations, ongoing

psychosocial counseling, direct casework services, and bereavement

services. This position offers an excellent benefits package including fully

paid medical, dental, vision, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance,

retirement plan, and paid time off.

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree of Social Work from school accredited/approved by the

      Council on Social Work Education.

  • Certified Social Work Associate (CSWA), in the state of Oregon (or ability to become certified).

  • A demonstrated ability in casework, counseling and group work, including clinical social work experience preferably in a healthcare or hospice setting.

  • Basic computer knowledge.

  • Possess valid state driver’s license and reliable automobile and be willing to operate personal car as necessitated by nature of job.

  • Proof of current automobile insurance with minimum state financial responsibility limits.

 

Preferred applicant will be required to pass a background check and

pre-employment drug screen, following an offer of employment.
